Ramps are crucial for many individuals with disabilities and seniors. Whether wheelchair bound, an amputee, or you are suffering from an illness that causes the need for assistance to get in and out of the home, the Ramp Program offers free ramps to those who qualify. A wheelchair ramp allows people to live more independently in their own home and can help prevent accidents and falls, helping seniors maintain a higher quality of life for a longer.

Requirements And Next Steps For The Ramp Program:
- Contact the ADRC line 1-800-282-6612, then option 3 or be referred from Phoebe Care Management Dept.
- Complete the pre-screen questions and application process
- Someone 18 or older, preferably living in the home, must be available when a ramp crew leader comes to assess for the ramp build.
This service is designed to help seniors maintain their independence and live in their own homes for as long as possible.
Ramp Building Services of Southwest Georgia
The ramp program relies solely on financial support from donors. Any contribution to the ramp program will allow for future ramp builds. The Ramp Brigade is part of our AmeriCorps Senior/RSVP Program. This group of volunteers aged 55 and older are always in need of additional hands. If you have a skill or background in carpentry, we need you and will provide specific training support.
