Legal Services

Delivered through the Georgia Legal Services Program, the Elderly Legal Services Program targets seniors age 60+, providing information and community education. Volunteers and attorneys, along with one supervising attorney, provide reduced fee services upon referral from the coordinator.

Some of the reasons a senior or disable person would need this assistance would be:

  • Legal considerations like power of attorney whether medical or financial, setting up a will, etc.
  • Social security disputes and tax credits
  • Discrimination by an employer
  • Abuse situations
