CRAFT SERVICES – PLARN & CROCHET

Every Wednesday

9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Leesburg Library (245 Walnut Ave S Leesburg)

This project includes a recycling project that is aimed at reducing the number of single-use plastic bags that enter local landfills.  We turn gently used plastic bags into sleeping mats for the homeless and other items that are reinvested in local programming and initiatives.  In addition, volunteers can also choose crocheting activities to assist in our partnership with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Call 229-432-1124, ext. 3 for more details or simply apply to become a volunteer online at sowegacoa.org/volunteer.
